October In
Eritrean History
Do you know that :
-
The Catholic
Cathedral in Asmara was inaugurated in October 1923?
- That
the Italian King Vittorio Emanuele
Terzo was in Asmara in
October 1932?
- That
the first ever major Eritrean political congress was convened in October
1971?
- That
it was in October 2002 that the progress within the Eritrean opposition
was reversed by an “illegal and irresponsible” statement issued by a new
secretary general of the ENA suspending the ELF-RC for a simple
democratic act of walking out of an election session in protest to
practices that it did not accept?
