Sources has acknowledged that a woman by the name Ababa Fetwe, has been
found dead in the residence of Emnay Suliman, a secretary of the
Eritrean Embassy here in Khartoum.
Ababa’s death was recognized after three days only after neighbors
complained about stinking smell coming from her apartment. Her corpus
was found laid on the bed. There was a cut in the front and middle head;
one leg found broken. Moreover, autopsy results have proved it was an
act of homicide. She was buried on April 23, 2005.
Although, the Sudanese officials are investigating the event, no
official report is given yet.
Ababa 37 was a maid taking care of the residence of the diplomat, who is
in Asmara currently. She was once deported from Sudan on the bases of
lacking legality for her stay. However, She came back illegally and
started working in the same house.
Meanwhile, Eritreans in Khartoum are outraged by the laxity of the
Eritrean Embassy for not taking the necessary measures concerning the
horrible crime committed upon its members.
