CONCLUDING STATEMENT:

ARABIC  ENGLISH       TIGRINIA

Mr. Tesfamicael, son of Tewelde Weldeyahanes and Mrs.  Mehret, was born in November 17, 1948 in the village of Hadish Adi, Eritrea. He completed his elementary education in Faith Mission and high school in the Public School of Decamare, Eritrea. He has worked as a teacher for several years with Faith Mission until 1978.

In 1978 Tesfamicael migrated to Sudan where he worked as an assistant social worker, field administrator, and assistant refugee counselor for Eastern Sudan under the administration of Sudan Counsel of Churches. In 1981 he married Hidat Debessai, his faithful wife.  From 1990 to 1993, he served his people as a pastor of Faith Mission Church in Kahrtoum.

Tesfamicaels hobbies include: music, singing, playing basketball and volleyball. He was also fun loving entertainer and loved by people.

Tesfamicael and his family migrated to the United States in 1993 and arrived at Washington DC. After one year, he moved to Indianapolis where many of his Christian brothers live and worship. Until the last days of his life, he served his people in the church in many capacities: as a treasurer, preacher, musician and song leader.

During the days of his suffering and sickness, Tesfamicael showed a spirit of courage, patience, praises and displayed constant sense of humor. On December 19, 2004 about 4:00 am, he departed in a wonderful sense of peace from this life to be with His Savior and King while his family was by his bed side. He will be missed by all.
