A Call to Save Lives

The Eritrean Medical Association is in need of your help now than any other time. Remember most of us know what refugee life is like. We have been through it. Our children here can see a doctor at any time and can get the medicine they need without difficulties, but remember those children who are suffering from lack of basic medical care and malnutrition. The photos at http://www.awna1.com are self explanatory of the desperate situation. No need for words to describe the bad situations Eritreans are experiencing in refugee camps. Undoubtedly we know the misery and discomfort associated with refugee life! Let us stop talking politics and help those in need! Let us act now! Let us deal with this problem with big-hearted approach before it develops to a catastrophic stage! Enough is enough! Your contributions:

  • Will give refugees the hope, especially the innocent children who are victims of the unfortunate situation Eritrea is in.
  • Will give refugees access to some medical treatments, which are basic human rights.
  • Will ease the pain of children, which again is the consequence of the protracted desperate situation Eritrea is in.
  • Will avert unnecessary deaths.
  • AND MORE! AND MORE! AND MORE!

Please help! Please help! Please help! Now before it is too late!

This call is from Awna1 to all Eritreans.

A Call to Our Medical Professionals

You have seen at http://www.awna1.com the mother who helplessly looks at her weak son suffering from lack of medical treatment and malnutrition. Because of your humane profession, you better understand than anybody the feeling of such a desperate mother. Some of you eased the pain of wounded fighters and the civilians who were caught up in the middle during the war of liberation. Your humanitarian mission cannot be forgotten and never stops when people are in need of it. Please extend a passionate hand to the refugees who are helplessly waiting for salvation. Please visit Eritrean refugees in the Sudan and assess their situations yourselves. Your presence will reassure them that there are people who care for them. Give them hope and comfort by being with them.

Please help! Please help! Please help! Now before it is too late!

This call is from Awna1 to all Eritreans.

A Call to Our Musicians

Through your patriotic songs, you mobilized the Eritrean people to fight fiercely against the oppressive and unjust occupation. No one can deny the potentially important roles you played in the liberation of our country, and the independence that followed. You have continued your patriotic duties post-independence to help your country. Now we urge you to organise fund-raising events for Eritrean refugees. That is what needed to assist Eritreans languishing in refugee camps in the Sudan. We are ready here in Australia to organise such events for the sake of the Eritrean refugees. Eritrean refugees are in need of your help! They are in need of every dollar donated!

Please help! Please help! Please help! Now before it is too late!

This call is from Awna1 to all Eritreans.
