Martyr Seyoum Ogbamichael Mourned Even in Asmara! ByNharnet.com
Reliable sources from Asmara have reported that the death of Seyoum Ogbamichael was publicly mourned by his relatives in the Eritrean capital as well as in his village Haserelbo in Seraye Province where his mother and other members of the family reside. Defying fear and any possible risks, the villagers carried around a symbolic coffin for symbolic funeral of their martyred son.
In Asmara, relatives pitched a big tent in the middle of the city to receive condolences from friends and old comrades-in-struggle of Patriot-Martyr Seyoum Ogbamichael.
It is to be recalled that Martyr Seyoum Ogbamichael was granted a hero’s burial in Holland on 30 December 2005 following his sudden death in the Ethiopian capital of the 17th of December.
Martyr Seyoum Ogbamichael, a school mate and recruiter to the Eritrean struggle of the current dictator Isayas Afeworki, joined the Eritrean armed struggle 41 years ago.
