EDA Sponsored ELF-RC Eritrean Festival in Chicago, USA

"JUSTICE & RECONCILIATION FOR

SECURITY & SOVEREIGNITY"

The June 23, 2007, Eritrean Democratic Association (EDA) sponsored ELF-RC's USA festival is almost here, and it is not too late to join it. This summer's bonanza will be escalated to different heights because there will be many critical thinkers presenting in different area of their studies. The festival objective is to create and maintain a just and democratic order in Eritrea by focusing on what unites our people, not on what divides us. To accomplish this objective, EDA has gained endorsement of multiple human right local and international institutions and advocates. You got to be there to believe it!

Facts - Until the ELF-RC started its Kassel festival and USA festival held in Seattle the last three years and now being celebrated in Chicago Illinois PFDJ monopolized the Eritrean festivals inside and outside Eritrea. Not anymore!

Objective of our festival - From the get go PFDJ festivals have been designed to empty the pockets of its participants through all means and at the same time emptying their brains by feeding manufactured, deceiving and falsely covering the hood of the system at the mercy of the whims of one man. PFDJ Festivals never have been for public platform never for the interest of the Eritrean people and never are owned by the people who participate in them.

Unlike PFDJ the objective of EDA Sponsored ELF-RC festivals have focused in providing plat forms to all of the different Eritrean political human right and civic organizations and individuals. Leaving the past for history let us focus to this year’s EDA Sponsored ELF-RC Fourth Festival Chicago USA. The Chicago festival is an opportunity for all Eritreans to gather in one place, exchange their ideas and search for solutions to the problems besieging their people and country.

This year the Chicago festival is being celebrated with the theme of “Create and Maintain a Just and Democratic Order in Eritrea” by focusing on the issues that unite our people rather than on issues that divide us.
