A group
of 446 Eritrean refugees arrived at Shegraib refugee camp between 15 and
24 February 2009. The following table shows the age and gender
distribution of the new arrivals.

the beginning of the New Year 2009, the number of Eritrean refugees who
sought political asylum in the Sudanese refugee camp of Shegraib has
risen to 3488.
