505 Eritrean Refugees

Over the past two
weeks (June 24 to July 3, 2009), 505 Eritreans have arrived at Shegerab
refugee camp in Eastern Sudan. The table below shows age and gender of
the new arrivals.

The number of
Eritrean refugees entering Shegerab refugee camp, in Eastern Sudan has
been increasing at alarming rate since January 2009. To date, the number
has hit 11,641.
